Step-by-Step Install

Download the Mac > 24/7 Remote from https://www.lafayettelocal.it/support

Open the download
-
Open the installer (once)
In the extracted item, Control-click (right-click) the installer and choose Open.
When macOS warns that the app is from an unidentified developer, click Open again. -
Let it finish
Follow the on-screen prompts until the install completes. If an app opens, leave it running. -
Grant required permissions (one time)

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.

In Screen Recording, turn On for LLIT / LLIT Remote / meshagent (click the lock to make changes).

In Accessibility, turn On for the same entry.

If asked, quit and reopen the app to apply changes.

All set
Keep the app running and let your LLIT technician know you’re ready. Keep your Mac awake during the session.
Troubleshooting

macOS won’t open the installer
Control-click the installer → Open → Open. (This is expected for apps not signed with Apple.) -
I don’t see the app under Screen Recording or Accessibility
Open the app once, then check again. If it still isn’t listed, click the “+” button in each section and add it from Applications. -
The toggles are greyed out
In Privacy & Security, click the lock in the lower-left to unlock settings, then enable the toggles. -
We can see your screen but can’t control it
Ensure Accessibility is enabled for the app, then quit and reopen the app. -
Stuck at the login screen
Log into your Mac user account once; control works normally after you’re signed in. -
Nothing happens when I double-click the download
Make sure you extracted the .zip first. Run the installer from the extracted folder—not from inside the zip preview.
